HUMAN RIGHTS DAY


On 10th December, 2022 Human Rights Day was observed by K.L.E. Society’s S. A. Manvi Law College, Gadag. Shri Prakash Banakar, PSI of Betageri Police Station, Gadag was the chief guest. He addressed the students as regards to protection of human rights at the police station, at the time of investigation as well as in every interaction with the public while arresting, in entering the information at Station House Dairy and providing legal aid to the accused. Surveillance of CCTV cameras are installed for the impartial and transparent working system in the administration. It is the duty of all to protect the human rights.

Dr. C. B. Ranagattimath, Physical Education Director administered the oath as regards to the protection of human rights. Later, chief guest distributed the booklets and pamphlets to the students.

The programme commenced with the prayer of Miss Shreedevi Kaganur of 1st Year LL.B. Shri S. T. Murashillin, Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Human Rights Cell introduced the guest and welcomed one and all. Dr. Vijay V. Muradande, Assistant Professor and IQAC-Coordinator proposed the vote of thanks. Dr. S. R. Patil, Principal was present on the dais. Miss Chaitra Goudar was the master of the ceremony. All the staff & students were present on the occasion.
